Founded by the Şatırlar family in 1987 in Ankara, BARKOM has established itself as a premier manufacturer and supplier of drilling rigs and equipment for mineral exploration and geological soil investigation. We offer a comprehensive range of products including but not limited to: • Underground and surface drilling rigs • Drilling equipment and accessories - Core barrels - Wireline and conventional drill rods and casings - Diamond and tungsten carbide drill bits and tools - Rock drilling tools - Mud pumps - Core trays - Borehole surveying instruments - Drilling fluid chemicals and additives - Thread compounds and lubricants Our mission is to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction by manufacturing top-quality products using raw materials exclusively sourced from the world's most reputable brands. Our vision is to be recognized as the most reliable company in the industry, renowned for our commitment to accessibility, specifically for after-sales support and services. In 2014, we became the first company in Turkiye to apply heat treatment on drilling rods, showcasing our innovative approach. In 2015, we proudly established our own brand, BULLDRILL®, which focuses on manufacturing underground and surface drilling rigs, where the entire process of production takes place in our factory in Ankara. Starting from 2017, we have been producing the first and only 100% ATEX certified explosion-proof drilling rigs in Turkiye. In 2018, we became the first Turkish manufacturer to establish their own research and development center with the approval of the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, solidifying our dedication to continuous improvement and innovation. Today, we dominate 80% of the domestic market share in our industry, while exporting to more than 80 countries across five continents.
