OUR MISSION Edumisyon is a practical advice centre that provides an inspiring contribution to education at home and abroad. We do this by providing trainings, seminars, services and products created and provided by talented national and international teachers with years of experience from all over the world. Edumisyon inspires management, parents and teachers all to work together for the academic and pedagogical progress of the student by providing personalized approaches to all parties involved. OUR VISION With the increasing number of private schools emerging all around Turkey, education has become part of a larger competition. This competition is more visible in the area of ESL, teaching English as a second language. The management and administration of private schools often find themselves in the dark within this area: they struggle hiring qualified English teachers and furthermore they struggle keeping track of the teacher’s contribution since the management has lack of experience within ESL education. The same way, parents are also often left in the dark and often choose to follow their instincts, instead of making an educated choice when they put their children at a certain school. Hearsay is also another method parents choose when making crucial decisions about their child’s future, for which they pay large amounts of money. There is of course also the counter side to this, due to lack of awareness within teaching English at schools, sometimes good and well-qualified teachers have to make up for the loss of the ones who aren’t performing well and hence they are usually working against a burnout or become overly demotivated, which on its turn again makes the whole spiral go downwards. Over the 20+ years of experience at all levels of education, reaching out from The Netherlands to Turkey, we aim to rebuild and make strong the communication within these parties and have them work together and focus on the necessities of the child.
