Cold Outreach Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
This policy applies to low-volume B2B outreach sent through a customer-connected mailbox in FreshSignal Automation. It is separate from Bulk Email and the SES newsletter service.
Roles
The sender chooses the audience, lawful basis, content, and mailbox and acts as controller for the campaign. FreshSignal processes CRM and delivery instructions as a service provider and may act as an independent controller for account security, billing, and product data.
Permitted use
Messages must be work-related, reasonably relevant, and directed to business recipients. Turkish trader/merchant rules and UK corporate-subscriber rules must be followed. Consent requirements must be assessed separately before contacting sole traders, consumers, or individual subscribers.
Prohibited use
Deceptive identity or subjects, sensitive-data targeting, harassment, unlawfully sourced lists, consumer spam, messages after opt-out, and harmful content are prohibited.
Sending limits
The default starting limit is 50 emails per mailbox per day, 6 per hour, with at least 10 minutes between messages. Lower provider limits prevail. FreshSignal may lower limits or pause a sequence to protect deliverability and reputation.
Automatic stops
Follow-ups stop on reply, opt-out, permanent bounce, spam complaint, or global suppression. Users may not bypass suppression records.
Transparency and opt-out
Sender identity must not be concealed. Every message must provide a working and easy way to object or opt out, and requests must be applied promptly.
Responsibility
FreshSignal does not provide legal advice or guarantee that a target list is lawful for every campaign. The sender remains responsible for targeting, content, records, and data-subject requests. Access may be suspended for violations.
