Koç Holding and Temel Ticaret Agree to Sell Tüpraş Shares
Koç Holding and Temel Ticaret agreed to sell A-group Tüpraş shares with a combined nominal value of TRY 16,019,979 to Merrill Lynch International at TRY 384.50 per TRY 1 nominal share.
Koç Holding and its indirect controlling shareholder Temel Ticaret ve Yatırım A.Ş. agreed to sell A-group shares in Tüpraş to Merrill Lynch International. Koç Holding will sell shares with a nominal value of TRY 11 million and Temel Ticaret will sell TRY 5,019,979 nominal, at a price of TRY 384.50 for each TRY 1 nominal share.
An application was filed with Borsa İstanbul through Bank of America Yatırım Bank to convert the shares into exchange-traded form. The transaction was scheduled for 3 September, with settlement expected on 7 September 2026. Following the transaction, Tüpraş’s effective free float is expected to rise to 49.7 per cent.
