Turkish Competition Board Clears Coursera’s Acquisition of Udemy
The Board concluded that Coursera’s acquisition of sole control over Udemy would not significantly impede effective competition.
The Turkish Competition Board published its reasoned decision dated 7 May 2026 and numbered 26-17/508-182. The Board unanimously authorised Coursera, Inc.’s acquisition of sole control over Udemy, Inc. through Chess Merger Sub, Inc. Named shareholders and online-education competitors are linked for context and are not parties to the transaction.
