Aliénor has previously worked for The World of Interiors; Ottoline, a wallpaper & fabric design house; Sterling Studios, an applied arts workshop; and Caroline Percy of Hotspur Design, an interior designer specialised in historic decoration. Alongside her professional undertakings she has obtained a Masters in History of Art and continues deepening her knowledge of decoration and design through an ongoing series of courses and affiliations. She is involved with outreach and fundraising at the Art Workers' Guild, where she is an Associate Member, and is an alumni of The Attingham Trust, where she was awarded a scholarship. This summer she will be a teacher for La Table Ronde de l'Architecture, INTBAU's Belgian Chapter. She is a member of The Victorian Society, The Furniture History Society & The Decorative Arts Society. More recently Aliénor has created Artfully Crafted to champion the current generation of master makers in order to inspire the next. Whilst she works with all periods of historical design and decoration, Aliénor finds herself particularly drawn to the Victorian era, specifically the aesthetic movement, arts & crafts, gothic revival, all of which are apparent in her own home (as seen in The World of Interiors ) where she lives with her husband and rescue greyhound.
